Handcrafted from reclaimed and recycled wood — giving new life to natural materials, meaning no two are ever the same.

A dice is supposed to be perfectly fair. Every face equal, every roll truly random. But make one from wood — with all its grain, knots and natural quirks — and suddenly fate has a little more character. Which feels about right for a bird box.

Wooden dice are actually one of the oldest games around. Long before plastic, people were carving them from wood and bone — rolling them in taverns, using them in rituals, letting them decide their fate. There's something wonderfully human about that.

Ours is handcrafted by the team at Turning Corners, mounted at a jaunty angle with dots carved in and the entrance hole sitting where the five would be. Not perfectly symmetrical. Not perfectly fair. But full of charm, warmth and a story worth telling.
